The smell comes across as a sweet, mellow mint with a hint of lavender behind. First taste is a dance between the lavender and the chamomile, with the mint and lemon balm following. None of the flavors are particularly strong or overbearing, but mingle nicely, tempered by the green tea.

 

Lavender and Chamomile are both known for their calming properties, with lavender being slightly sedative and chamomile being an effective relaxant. We added in a bit of ginger and peppermint to help settle the stomach (I know when my anxiety is high, I always feel like I'm going to puke). Lemon balm is also a good relaxant, but it is also a lovely nerve tonic, helping to ease the anxiety and restlessness. Additionally, Green tea is considered to be calming to the nervous system, making it also helpful for anxiety.
